Agenda Capital runs a portfolio of asset investments in property, public equity, fixed income, and alternatives. We aim to optimise real return on capital employed, whilst running a balanced portfolio which will perform in all economic conditions.

Agenda's property development business is run alongside the asset portfolio, and is active when market opportunities allow.

Jamie currently runs Agenda Capital alongside his family investment portfolio.

He founded Agenda following a 20+ year career in the City specialising in fixed income, credit, and distressed investing and trading.

Taking advantage of market opportunity at the time, he built a property development business at Agenda, starting in 2012 and focusing initially on SW London, and the transition of commercial to residential property.

Jamie has helped selective start up companies, drawing upon his own experience with Agenda and through this established a small venture capital portfolio.

Jamie also played an active investment role in syndicated commercial property deals across the UK, exiting these through to 2022.

In his 20 year City career (1991-2012), Jamie acted as a Board Director of Nomura Bank International, a UK bank, and was a senior managing director of Nomura International PLC. At Nomura, he was responsible for assets in excess of $5bn and trading teams of up to 80 people. He ran credit proprietary investing, and managed credit structured products and credit market making divisions, utilising the full range of fixed income products including bonds, credit and interest rate derivatives. He ran his own credit trading book throughout and in 2009 established a $250mm distressed debt fund. The fund was seeded by Nomura, and achieved >2x over 2 years.

Jamie's team managed Nomura's bad bank after the financial crisis, including a portfolio of securitised distressed US commercial property of total value in excess of $2bn. Loss mitigation techniques and value enhancement strategies later lead to this being Nomura's best performing asset based business.

Jamie holds an Economics degree (BA 1st class hons) from Exeter University.
